Dear Red Raider Supporters,

We are looking forward to a promising school year for the GHS Red Raiders! After our second year competing in Division 4A, we are ready to face the challenges ahead of us! The athletes and coaches have stepped up their game in training and encouraging students to participate as they prepare for the upcoming 2016-2017 season.

The mission of the GHS All Sports Booster Club is to provide support to ALL 40 varsity and JV athletic teams, about 800 students ranging from 7th to 12th grade. The financial support is distributed throughout the programs in order to provide referees, transportation, coaches’ supplements, uniforms, maintenance of our facilities, and much more. It is vital that we give as much as we can in order to keep a competitive edge in 4A.

Our fundraising is primarily accomplished through Booster Club membership and our annual GHS Oyster Roast. You can help simply by joining the Booster Club! We have membership opportunities for families, students, and even little raiders! You can also choose to purchase a package that offers a football parking pass! The membership will save you money as you can get into ALL HOME athletic events free just by showing your pass! Be sure to SAVE THE DATE for March 25, 2017, our Red Raider Oyster Roast. It is a great way to support the athletes, meet other GHS parents, and just enjoy a fun night out!

Greenville High School is blessed with loyal businesses, alumni, and friends that continue to support our program through financial donations as well as food services. Please join us in thanking the businesses in particular that you see advertised in this program, on the JumboTron, and on the banners displayed at each field and in the gym. A quick thank you for their support whenever possible would be appreciated. We truly could not provide such an outstanding program without them!

Our goal for our athletes involves more than just having a successful program on the field. Students are positively impacted through the mentoring of coaches and the friendships and bonds formed with their teammates. Working together to accomplish a common goal is a lifelong skill! We also recognize that they are students first! This is evident through the tutoring programs offered and the hard work exhibited by our athletes. Last year, the average GPA for our GHS athletes was 4.04. Way to go!

You make the difference! Get involved, and make an impact in this fantastic year!

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in the Greenville High School athletics program! Go Raiders!
